During the self isolation period, skincare and aromatherapy play an extreme key role in our self care routine and it's a great way to help us to reconnect to our heart.
Today, I'm going to teach you how to do a professional mini facial in your own home.
PROFESSIONAL FACIAL AT HOME
Do you want to do a facial at your own home easily without fancy equipment, and yet the facial is effective? Let's do this...
WHAT you Need -
1) A big bowl of warm water and a big bowl of steamy hot water
2) Bath towel x 1
3) Face Cloth x 1
4) Hair Tie/Head Band x 1
5) Cotton rounds, a few
6) Your Skincare Products
HOW to Step by Step -
Diego Dalla Palma Professional Cleansing products contains Cell Detoxium that stimulate cell detoxification
Step 1: Cleansing - Our face is continually covered with bacteria, pollutants, viruses, dirt, and old (dead) skin cells. Daily facial washing removes these impurities is absolutely important.
1.1 Pre-cleanse - Use Diego Dalla Palma Professional (DDP) biphasic makeup remover to remove all your makeup, excess sebum (oil secretion from oil glands), dust and dirt.
1.2 Cleanse – Choose the right cleanser based on your skin type
* Dry to Normal Skin, Dehydrated Skin – DDP Micellar Cleansing Milk
* Combination or Oily Skin – DDP Deep Cleansing Gel or DDP Detox Foam Cleanser
* Sensitive Skin – DDP Cleansing Micellar Water (this is a no-rinse water-based cleanser. Good to use when you wear false lashes)
Step 2: Exfoliation - Slough off dead skin with the right exfoliating agent that makes the skin smoother, helps product penetration and increases the cell turnover
* Dry to Normal Skin, Dehydrated Skin – DDP Oxygenating Scrub or DDP Jelly Scrub
* Combination or Oily Skin – DDP Oxygenating Scrub
Acne prone Skin - DDP Enzyme Purifying Clay Mask
Sensitive Skin – DDP Jelly Scrub
Apply an exfoliating agent and steam your skin to soften the skin. Steam also promotes micro-circulation.
Step 3: Steam - Cover your head with a bath towel and steam for 10 minutes. Then, remove the exfoliant with a cloth, and apply DDP Revitalizing Tonic with a cotton round to rehydrate the skin and bring the skin to pH balance. Toner is always used to make sure no product residue is left on the skin
Steam by using a bowl filled with steamy hot water. Add 2-4 drops of essential oil into the bowl. If you suffer from Spring allergy or have sinus congestion, I recommend Aqua Oleum’s Clear Head synergy blend. Otherwise, use your favourite scent that sooth your mind, such as Lavender, Lemongrass, Palma Rosa, Eucalyptus, Juniper makes a lovely choice
Ampoule is a small, sealed glass vial containing a single application of highly concentrated active extract.
Step 4 - Nourishment
4.1 Apply a targeted ampoule to treat the skin.
* Dry to Normal Skin, Dehydrated Skin – Skin Accents Hydrating Ampoule
* Combination or Oily Skin – Skin Accents Recovering Ampoule
* Sensitive Skin – Skin Accents Sensitive Ampoule
* Mature Skin - Skin Accents Stem Cell Ampoule or Skin Accents Lifting Ampoule
4.2 Masking - After massaging a bottle of targeted ampoule into your skin, you can now apply a facial mask
* All skin types, including Dehydrated Skin - DDP Hydrating Plumping Mask
* Mature Skin - ICON Time Super Mask™ Antiaging Repairing Mask
* Congested Skin - DDP Purifying Clay Mask
* Dull Complexion or Pigmented Skin - DDP Whitelight Brightening Mask
Leave the mask on for 10 minutes. Rinse it off then apply eye cream, serum and moisturizer
After the mini facial, your skin is revitalized, fresh and looks brighter. When you look ood, you'll feel good, that's also why self care is important!
